You do not have to be a resident of Denton to play with Denton Boys Baseball, however, there is a $5 non-resident fee

(YOU ARE A NON-RESIDENT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DENTON ADDRESS) 


Notification of Team Placement...

**Once registered and participation in the age appropriate Coach Look, you will be notified of the team your player is on by their coach on or the week following Feb. 3rd.  Your coach will inform you of your player's practice schedule the week of Feb. 12th.**


Depending on the final # of teams, practices & games are TYPICALLY scheduled as follows:

Practices are scheduled to begin February 12, 2018.

Practices can be any day of the week excluding Wednesdays & will start at 6:00 pm or 7:30 pm on weeknights & 9:00 am on Saturdays. (Each team usually has 2 per week)

League games are scheduled to begin March. 26, 2018.

Games replace practice slots and each team typically has 2 per week. Any practices after games begin are up to coach discretion & field availability.  Game times are 6:30 pm on weeknights & 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, & 3:00pm on Saturdays. Wednesdays may be used to reschedule rained out games.

**Please note as mentioned above this is how we have scheduled in the past, if we have more or less teams we will adjust the schedule as needed.**

Dates for the Spring season are tentative and DBBI reserves the right to change them without notice if necessary.

Practices and games for each age division are played at the following locations:

5U-12U  Evers Park  3100 N. Locust St.

14U Mack Park - 2000 E. McKinney St.

HS (15-18)  Mack Park field #2 and Roberts Field which is directly across the street from Mack Park on E. McKinney.


 Please note - DBBI does not hold a fundraiser, charge a concession fee, nor require you to volunteer in the concession stand.  In place of a player/parent fund raiser, DBBI hosts select tournaments and depend on team sponsorship and outfield sign sponsorship.

If you have an interest in assisting during the tournament events (example: with field maintenance between games) or know of a business that would like to be a team sponsor or have an outfield sign - please email the DBBI office at:  info@dbbi.org

The registration fee includes...

Jersey, baseball cap, game costs, equipment costs (catchers gear), field updates, administration costs, etc.

Player provides...

Grey pants, socks & belt (your coach will notify you of the color), glove & helmet. Not required but recommended cleats & bat.


 Refund Policy:

All refund requests must be received in writing.

- Full refund will be distributed when written email is received PRIOR to the draft day (draft date -Feb. 3), excluding a 10% administration fee. Full refund for HS div. if written refund request is received BEFORE the HS div. Coach Look date.

- Partial refund of half the registration fee after draft day and one week prior to the date the league games begin (Feb. 4 - Mar. 18), excluding a 10% administration fee.  (HS partial refund: after HS div. draft and one week prior to first HS div. scheduled game)

- No refund - the week prior to the DBBI Fall 2017 league games beginning (Mar. 26).
